WebDec 5, 2012 · Bear Kodiak Magnum was first bow I ever hunted and killed deer with. That was probably in the mid 1970's. Yep...they are green, laminated fiberglass and wood. Those bows were 52" length so there is your 52. The 40 is probably the pounds pull at 28 inches (I think) draw length. Add 2 pounds additional for every inch over 28. Mine was 55# pull.
