I attempted to set up keys between these two machines. On the Windows machine I created keys using ssh-keygen -t rsa. I then 'scp'ed the resulting id_rsa.pub to the server and placed it in the ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file. As far as I know that should be all I need to make this work.
