WebFIST/Claw is the best weapon because at end game the meta turns into a spammy diablo 2 clone. And if you have played Diablo 2 you will know that life leeching on hit was a requirement to survive the harder difficulties. Well it is the same in Nioh 2. Fists = high attack rate = loads of life absorb. WebA game can be simple af in it's mechanics and still harder than a game with much more mechanics. No one claimed wo long will be easier. Nioh 2 is objectively more complex because you have 3 stances with many more moves and abilities that you can do. I also don't know if guides matter in a game where the main challenge is timing your parries.

From my experience so far, at least for dream of the samurai, the challenge seems to be coming from just how fast you die. Stacking buffs and debuffs, its not hard to do really good damage, but finding ways to get tanky is a lot harder.
