He recently made a new line for my first run SAGE Bass rod that makes the rod cast big flies … I commissioned this line from Steve Godshall this year. He makes fantastic bespoke Scandi shooting head lines. This one is a head of 28.9 Ft (8.8 metres) and weight 401 grains (25.9 grams) which is the equivalent of roughly a #7 with a fully integrated running line.
